Another Summer Wedding

Well, I thought it was time to post yet another amazing wedding from this past summer. Here is a collage from Wendy & Corey's wedding last May. They got married at a beautiful camp up in the mountains in Chilliwack and it turned out to be an awesome day. Wendy is the sister of another amazine bride I had in 2005, Elizabeth. I'll try and post that wedding in the future.

Here is their slideshow, or click on the photo below.

Wishing I was back in Maui - Part 1

Okay, so last night we got another huge windstorm and it snowed for the second time in a week. The weather has been absolutely nuts lately and I think yesterday was the 14th major storm of the winter. The one on the weekend knocked our power out twice. So, I really really wish I could go away. I would much rather be sitting at an ocean side restaurant eating yummy seafood, drinking pina coladas and then going snorkeling with the turtles and the fishies. And it seems like lots of other lucky ducks have done just that. I have clients in Maui and Cuba right now and it seems like tonnes of other people are posting their sunny vacations on their blogs. So since I can't actually go back I have to live with the photos from our last trip - see why photos are so important.
Anyway, I'm sure we could all use a good dose of warm sun right about now so here a bunch of my favourites from 6 months ago in Maui. I'll have to find the snorkeling photos with the sea turtles and post those later.

The side of Haleakala - where all the sugar cane is grown

The front of our hotel - The Maui Prince is very peaceful and relaxing
The beach at the hotel - with great snorkeling and sea turtles
Farther down the beach in the early morning

I thought this was a cool shot

a cute historical church down by the beach
some beautiful plants at the winery
cool palm leaves
birds of paradise by the poolside
swaying in the cool breeze

As the sun goes down on the beach
Another great sunset in Lahaina - enjoyed by Scott

Best Family Dedication

Before Christmas my lovely brother-in-law and sister-in-law Ken and Heather had a great gathering of all the important friends and family in their life to celebrate everyone and thank them for what they are to them and to their children, my wonderful nephew Graham and niece Anna. And of course I had to document this Special occasion for them to remember.

Here's their *Slideshow* and a few of my favourite photos.

paintings which I'll probably never get back,
but it does look great at their house)

Have to have a photo that marks the time of year

Another Christmas gone too fast

Well I can't believe its already 2007. I am soooooooooooooooooooo not ready for the new year. The holidays are always too short and even though they've been relaxing, Christmas photos are still sitting in my camera - I haven't even downloaded them yet. I could easily do with another week of family and fun as well as eating and sleeping. I don't want to take down my Christmas tree either - although I think my pointsettas have to go soon, they're kinda wilting-oops.

Hope everyone had a great Christmas and New Years and I will try to catch up on all the happenings that have been going on : , new home renovating and unpacking (still going on), family dedications, Corporate Christmas parties, little kiddies and lots of gifties, etc, etc, etc....

A Few Summer Weddings

Well, its that time of year again. The summer is over, the weddings have come and gone and new brides are phoning for the coming summer. I've gotten to meet some wonderful ladies and couples and am really looking forward to what the new year will bring. Beautiful couples and great locations promise amazing images and spectacular days.

I just wanted to start sharing some great weddings from this past year, and maybe even a little farther back.

For now, I want to share Donna and Hugh's wedding from this past July. Their wedding was at the Shadbolt centre for the Arts at Deer Lake Park in Burnaby. The location was a beautiful mix of architecture and nature. I loved it. Donna and Hugh were absolutely wonderful and so cute together - Hugh was just bursting with happiness. I had such a great time and wish them all the best.

The Past Two Weeks...

... Have been absolutely insane. Things have been super busy as Scott and I were renovating our new place (ie. de-eightyfying it and applying lots o' paint) and packing up our old place. We finally moved in on Saturday and so it's been boxes, boxes and more boxes. When things look better I will take pics to share of our new pride and joy.

In the meantime, I wanted to share some super cute photos of Anna and Graham (my husbands -and mine - niece and nephew). Anna is now almost 7 months old and it had been quite a while since she had a special photo shoot of her own. She was full of smiles and giggles and was sooooooo cute. Her big bro got in on the action too.

Dirom Slideshow #2

Here is the slideshow from the second session with the Diroms to welcome little baby Heather.
