Details, Details, Details...

I have been very busy at some amazing weddings over the last while. Unfortunately I can't show you much of the photos as the weddings are for other photographers and clients have first dibbs on seeing the photos but I can show you a few fabulous (and faceless) details that I've had the honour of taking and that I ABSOLUTELY LOVE. What could be better than shoes, flowers, dresses and cupcakes ?! Enjoy!!!

Memories of Anvil

Well I made it back in one piece and must say I am already missing Anvil Island. The week was wonderful and as usual the campers and staff were absolutely amazing. I took loads of photos of the campers and wish I could share them with you but I will be unable to - at least for now (same goes for the two weddings I shot on the weekend but I'm working on sharing something). I did just want to share a few photos from the week at camp though. Hope everyone is enjoying the summer (although I'm not sure where it went these last few days).

Away for a week

Hi Everyone, just want you all to know that I will be away for the next week and then will be back next weekend and straight into two weddings. I won't be able to check email so please be patient until I get back. For those who are curious, I'm off to volunteer at a kid's summer camp on Anvil Island in the Howe Sound. See you all later...

Stephanie & Matt's Engagement photos

Tonight was a BEAUTIFUL evening. The sun was glowing, the temperature was perfect and the breeze was just right and it finally felt like summer again here in Vancouver -- we could not have picked a better night to hang out in coal harbour and do photos. I was totally in heaven with Steph and Matt and am in love with the photos we got. The light was pretty amazing and just as we were about done we lucked out with the magic light - the golden light just before the sun sets and it totally reminded me of southern California or sunny Hawaii. Steph and Matt are two awesome awesome people and are now some of my favourite models. They are planning a wonderful wedding at Cecil Green for September 9th and I am more than excited to shoot these two again and capture their day with their family and friends.

Lots going on but nothing to show

Well, I have been hit by the photography bug lately... It's been super busy for me (and not made any easier by the onset of Tennis elbow - not from tennis either but from my heavy cameras). I have been shooting lots which has put me behind on finishing things for my awesome clients. I apologize for those of you who are waiting for albums; they are almost done and I will contact you very soon, just a few finishing touches on my end. Unfortunately I don't have any pics to post at the moment because I've been doing a lot of shooting and second shooting for other photographers and those pics need to be seen by their clients first. The weddings have been so amazing, complete with what seemed like a reunion of some of my highschool teachers. I also did one rad engagement session in gastown which produced a few crazy stories and I'm glad we made it out in one piece. Anyway, just wanted to let you know that I have been busy and hope to have great stuff to post soon. Cheers!
