Going back to Halloween

So last month for Halloween (I can't believe it's actually Mid-November already) we spent the evening at Kevin and Bev's and went trick'or'treating with Jack and Amelia. I know they've been awaiting their photos of them in their costumes as Super Man and Ms. Ladybug so here they are...

A long time blogging...and emailing...

Hello Everyone, sorry for not blogging in a while - we've had some internet problems. I never realized how much I actually use the internet until it's actually gone. I need to work on diversifying my life a little bit. Anyway, I have some posts to catch up on. Also, to all my clients who have emailed me, I'll be getting back to you shortly, I apologize for the delay. Now that I'm back and connected I'll be answering all the emails.

Jack and Amelia are TWO!!!

Time goes by so fast. The twins, Jack and Amelia had their second birthday last week and so Sunday was their very special birthday party. It was full of presents, family, kids and lots of craziness but really was such a cool day. The kids (all of them) are so much fun to be around and its fun to watch them all interact as they try to understand all the crazy things we adults do. The presents, cake and blowing out candles were quite the hit and quite the entertainment.

Great Clients

I really do have the greatest clients. One of the things that I love so much about photography is the relationships you build with people - that you get to meet such wonderful people, become friends and share in such special times in their lives. I was blessed enough to receive a wonderful thank you card this week from Winnie & Nathan whose wedding I shot back in June. They turned one of their wedding photos into a beautiful card on beautiful ivory/gold cardstock. I just wanted to share because I think it looks great. Again, it was my pleasure Winnie & Nathan and I wish you many blessings too.

The session from Thanksgiving Monday was just wonderful. I couldn't have asked for a more relaxed and fun bunch. A Thanksgiving Family Shoot

Well, third time's a charm. I met Susan through a friend and we've been trying for a couple weeks to schedule a wonderful family shot of her whole extended family. We got rained out for two Sundays (That's Vancouver for you) but the skies parted and we managed to get a beautiful sunny day at White Rock Beach. The whole family was super wonderful and the boys had loads of personality. I just want to post a few of my many favourites as a sneak peek. Happy Thanksgiving to all and thanks for the great shoot.

Lisa & Greivin

Good friends of ours got married on September 22nd here in North Van (even though they've already officially been married in Costa Rica where they met and where Greivin is from). The wedding here was a chance for them to share their love and joy with all those who weren't able to head south. So we got a chance to catch one of the last nice days in Vancouver and head down to Dundarave to do some photos before heading to the ceremony in North Van.
